BTF May File For Bankruptcy

It appears that there’s a real opportunity for clubs to recapture their own former members, and, equally important, to recapture those of their competitors as well. A large percentage (42%) of the consumers who said they intended to join another club during the coming year, indicated that they would not renew their old membership because of issues that were specific to the ex-club. Another 35% had dropped out because of situational circumstances (e.g., relocation), and, as a result, represent a promising recapture opportunity.
